All audio, video, and sound testing on this website happens entirely in your browser. No microphone audio, webcam video, or speaker test data is ever transmitted to our servers or any third party. When you close the page, all test data is gone.

Data Collected Automatically

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use our website. Google Analytics collects:

• Pages visited and time spent on each page
• Referral source (how you found our site)
• General geographic location (country/city level, not precise)
• Device type, browser, operating system, and screen resolution
• Interaction events (button clicks, scroll depth)

Google Analytics uses cookies to distinguish unique visitors. The data is aggregated and anonymized. We use this data solely to improve our tools and content. We do not combine this data with any personal information.

We use Google Search Console to monitor our website's performance in Google Search. This service provides aggregated search data (which queries lead to our site, click-through rates, indexing status). It does not collect any personal data from visitors.

Browser Permissions

Our testing tools require browser permissions to function:

• Microphone: Required for the microphone test. Audio is processed locally using the Web Audio API and never leaves your device.
• Camera: Required for the webcam test. Video is displayed locally and never recorded or transmitted.

You can revoke these permissions at any time through your browser settings. We never request permissions for features you are not actively using.

Data Storage

We do not maintain user databases or store personal data on our servers. Our website is static HTML, CSS, and JavaScript hosted on a web server. The only server-side logging is standard web server access logs (IP address, timestamp, requested URL, user agent), which are automatically deleted after 30 days.
